Coronado Golf Course
Originally owned and operated by Tom Lambie (PGA Pro), designed by the renowned team of Milton Coggins, Greg H. Nash, and Jeff D. Hardin, Coronado Golf Course has been a Scottsdale staple since opening on November 1, 1965. Our executive 9-hole course offers a fast, fun, and challenging layout across 1,850 yards of lush Bermuda grass.
With a par of 31—consisting of five par-3s and four par-4s—it is the perfect distance for a quick morning round or a casual afternoon with friends.
- Tee Times are available through the pro shop on a “Walk On/Walk-Up” basis (except for 1pm and 2pm tee time specials which may be booked in advance, online, at GolfNow.com). First come–first play is the rule at the Coronado Golf Course. Please remember only alcoholic beverages purchased in the pro shop are allowed on the premises.
- Hours – Monday – Sunday our first tee time is at 7 AM and our last tee time is two hours before sunset. Holiday hours may vary so please call the pro shop to confirm at (480) 947–8364.
- Replay – Each greens fee is for one round of 9-holes of golf. To play another round please proceed to the Pro-Shop after your round and ask to pay for another round (Replay) at a reduced rate. One replay is available concurrently and is dependent on availability.

Club Rules
- Clubs: Each player must have a set of clubs.
- Please play only one ball. No range balls are allowed on the course for play. No practicing on the course.
- Attire: Dress comfortably to enjoy your round, however, we ask that your attire respects the game of golf and those who are playing our course today. Shirts are required and T-shirts are permitted.
- Alcohol: Arizona law A.R.S. 4-244 prohibits alcoholic beverages from being brought onto the golf course. You may purchase beer and wine at the Pro Shop.
- Property Damage. Players are responsible for any errant shots. Any player whose ball causes damage to private property (including adjacent homes or vehicles) or course infrastructure is responsible for reporting the incident to the Pro Shop immediately. The player assumes full financial liability for such damage.
- “Malicious” or Negligent Damage: Intentional damage to the course—including, but not limited to, ‘donuting’ golf carts, slamming clubs into the turf, or damaging flagsticks—is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in immediate removal from the premises, suspension of playing privileges, and a fine equivalent to the cost of professional turf restoration.”
- Wildlife: Please respect the wildlife in their natural habitat. Any guests observed feeding or harassing animals may be asked to leave.
Cart Rental Requirement’s: Basic Safety & Rules Damage & Financial Responsibility
The act of tendering applicable golf cart fees is considered an opt-in by you and the other members of your group to our Golf Cart Terms of Use Agreement. You hereby understand and consent to the following terms from Coronado Golf Course:
- Access: To protect the playing experience for everyone we ask you please keep carts at least 10 yards away from tees, greens and ungroomed areas. Carts must always stay on the Coronado Golf Course property.
- Authorized Drivers: “The Renter represents that they are at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Only the individual(s) signing the rental agreement are authorized to operate the vehicle.”
- Seating Capacity: “The vehicle shall not carry more than two (2) occupants and two (2) golf bags at any time. All passengers must remain seated while the vehicle is in motion.”
- Sobriety: “The operation of the golf cart while under the influence of alcohol or any controlled substance is strictly prohibited.” Furthermore. I understand that any alcoholic beverages on the course MUST be purchased at the Coronado Golf Shop.
- Assumption of Risk: “The Renter accepts the vehicle in its current ‘as-is’ condition and acknowledges responsibility for the vehicle until it is returned to the staging area and checked in by staff.”
- Liability for Damage: “The Renter agrees to pay for any and all damages sustained to the golf cart, course property, or third-party property while the vehicle is in their possession. This includes, but is not limited to, collisions, fire, or theft.”
Pace Of Play
It is our expectation that every golfer accepts the responsibility to maintain their position on the course relative to the pace of play target time. At Coronado Golf Course, your round should be played in no more than 2 hours to complete our 9-hole course. We will manage accordingly to ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests. A Restroom is located near the hole 6.
USGA Rules Govern All Play Except Were Modified By Local Rules Or Such Temporary Rules As May Be Posted.
- Out-Of-Bounds – All boundary fences, inside driving range and inside maintenance yard.
- All lakes and ditches are lateral penalty areas.
- If lie or stance is interfered with by sprinkler head, ball may be dropped no nearer hole. No penalty.
- Please lift and drop away from all staked trees. No penalty.
- Ball may be dropped two club lengths from fence surrounding driving range and maintenance building. No penalty.

IMPORTANT: CASH ONLY Our Pro Shop is CASH ONLY. We do not accept credit cards, digital payments, or ACH. There is no ATM on-site, so please plan accordingly!
